In February when we went to St Kitts & Nevis (V4) I had the K2/100,
KAT100 and
SEC1223 switching power supply in the middle of a carryon soft
suitcase. It was
wrapped in a think layer of foam to protect the front panel of the K2 and
then packed
in clothes. There were no problems with customs or TSA at Detroit
Metro, San Juan
or Basseterre, St Kitts. And the radio travelled very
well! I also had a spool of
wire and some cable ties for insulators and some coax ..... just in case
our antenna
case got delayed!

Has anybody used the Powerport
DXpedition pack? It looks pretty good,
although based on the specs it might be a tight fit for a K2 inside
the
accompanying {quot}radio box{quot}. (3.25{quot} deep vs. 3.4{quot}
overall for the K2
according to published spec.) Any reviews?
