Help,

Installed the noise blanker and the radio went deaf.  I have completed it
according to specs and now to hear the noise floor I have to max out the AF
gain and the signals are just barely audible - I have to put my ear near the
speaker to even make out the conversations.  Yet yesterday before I
assembled and removed anything this rig was hot and the AF gain was always
set at 2-3-4 level and played nice clear and loud.  Not now!!!!

So I removed the board and it is still muffled.  Muffled - that seems to be
best way to descibe the signal now.

I have removed the jumper at W5.  I have removed R88, 89, 90 and I have
installed a jumper between R89 and and a 2.7 k resistor is at R88.

Any Ideas on what I did wrong?  This thing went from being the hottest
little reciever for 3 days to a deaf mule simply by installing the Noise
Blanker???!!!  Did I maybe damage a pad or trace in removing R88,89,90?  I
do not know what to look for now.

Any suggestions or help is appreciated.!
