[Elecraft] Elecraft K-1 vs Icom 703

I have been running my one K-1 (I have another in the mail on the way to my QTH) along side an Icom 703 for the last five weeks. Same antenna, side-by-side
 
I must say that the K-1 consistently performs better on weak signals and the three filters beat out the '703 with DSP in most circumstances.  I added an external DSP to the K-1 and using the internal K-1 filters and the external DSP, it's hard to beat.  My external DSP and K-1 still use less current then my '703.
 
Just LOVE my K-1....can't wait until I have two in another week or so!
