I use AF1 and 2 probably equally. There are times when I
can simply hear weak signals better with AF1. AF2 seems to
generate a little ringing or additional gain to the
background noise. If signals are a little stronger and I
need to seperate signals, AF2 is better. I think it's such
a subjective thing that there is no "right" answer, beyond
what works best for you.
