[Elecraft] Ultimate tuning knob?

How about a remote tuning knob kit? It could have a proper K2 knob and use
the same encoder, be mounted on an Elecraft grey box, and most importantly,
have a socket for a paddle as well, to allow remote-control users who don't
like typing CW to use a key instead? I realise that software writers would
have to add paddle support to their software, but it would be much easier
to do it if an external interface containing a PIC simply sent data to the
program, than trying to interface a key or paddle directly to Windows.

I currently use this knob with most of my software, including K2 remote. It
can be programmed to provide any key sequence, like left/right arrows, that
can be interpreted for tuning the rig's frequency.
