[Elecraft] Power Supply Problem

I recently purchased a K2/100 and planned to take it on a trip.  Recently, I 
took a trip and used an ICOM 706 MKII with a Radio Shack 22-510 25-amp 
switching power supply.  I plan to use the power supply again with the K2/100, but 
the cooling fan was extremely noisy and the unit generated a fair amount of RF 
hash.  The fellow I purchased the K2/100 from told me that someone here posted 
a message explaining how the power supply can be modified (a shunting 
resistor?) to reduce the noise from the cooling fan.  I searched the index under power 
supplies, but I found no reference to the 22-510.  Can someone help me 
please?  Thank you ever so much.
