Hi Guys, sounds like the net did take place. Here in the RF Black Hole
(Midwest) nothing but static. Only faintly heard one W4 station and that's
unusual as FLA normally booms into here. With the one contact I made had
horrible QSB. I QSY'd to 20m and called for about 5mins with no luck. I
scanned the band and NADA, really bad here.
It is very clear that if we want to run this net, multiple net control
stations will be necessary. I have drafted a sample Preamble to the Net,
and any station interested in helping to fine tune it please email me and I
can drop a send you a copy.
I'm glad to see that there is real interest in the net. I think that all who
have been involved are anxious to get something permanent going. My ideal
would be to have the ability to exchange serial # among users as well as
pass along traffic of interest to Elecraft users.
Well until next week, 73 Rich KQ9L
