Yes, it is normal. There are a number of frequencies where this appears.
This is explained in the manual, second note on page 27.

It is a result of auxbus traffic occurring at about once per second.
Normally, during an auxbus transaction, the audio in the K2 is muted.  But
the RTC mode intentionally does not mute the audio, and any time the KDSP2
is using the display, this will occur.

The KAF2 does the same thing.
