I say again, the Elecraft K2 is the HOTTEST Xceiver I have had the 
pleasure to own, following the assembly/alignment manual instructions 
precisely. I have some pretty good equipment to compare it to, ie:
Kenwood TS-850S/AT, Drake R-4C/T-4XC.
Both of my K2's perform equally well, and can clearly hear signals the 
other units can only reproduce marginally above the noise.
What more could one ask?
