Yours is only the third report for this interaction.  I have not been able
to reproduce it.

I am in the midst of working with a tester now who has observed it on his
system to determine the cause so we can effect a cure.  It appears to be
somehow auxbus timing related.  The KNB2 and KDSP2 use "adjacent" auxbus
addresses and it appears that for some reason, under unknown-as-yet
conditions, the KDSP2 will mistakenly interpret the KNB2 command as an nr
command.

We *are* working on the problem.
