[Elecraft] First contact of K2 #3596

I was planning to make my first contact on CW, I am still waiting on a set
of paddles, I really hate my straight keys and you would too if you were on
the other end.

I was listening to the 17M band which had traffic, but took some work to
hear well. I decided to try QRP SSB (6.5 watts)with a Czech station. He gave
me a 55. He was was 59 to me, but he was running 450 watts.

I fell pretty good about building the K2 and having it work so well, or even
at all. :)

PS: Thanks to those of you with good advice to get past a couple booboos
along the way.
