It "aligns" to the extent that most of my operating is in the lower
50-60 khz of the other bands. Although the WWV feature is nifty, I found
that a) I rarely used it, and b) I got tired of cranking the knob from the
low end to the high just to check 30m. Now, all of my primary operating
segments are in the same dial range, and I can still operate in the novice
sections whenever I want to:
Primary Novice
7.000 - 7.050 7.100 - 7.150
10.100 - 10.150
14.000 - 14.070
21.000 - 21.060 21.100 - 21.200 (can only tune to about 21.160)
