[Elecraft] Power for KAT100

Andy,

The most definitive response(from Tom, N0SS) seems to be that the diode in
series with the K2 jack prevents its use to supply power out. Thought I
might try it any way since there is voltage there and the KAT100 probably
doesn't take much current. Or, I suppose you could bypass the diode,
perhaps raising some risk, but I don't know what it would be. If I get
adventursome, I will post the result.

Did you ever get a definitive answer? That sure sounds like
the way to go, and there should be power at the K2 jack without
the power switch being on, right? (I don't have the KPA100/KAT100.)
