[Elecraft] KDSP2 sound vs the KAF2

    If you miss the sound of the KAF2 you might get rid of the LoPass
which are the default first filter in all modes.  The 8khz sample rate
gives the filter a 4khz passband, the KAF2 has a 3khz filter in the
circuit all the time.  using 0.2 and 2.7 instead of LoPass made me
happy.  The only thing the LoPass does for me, is make the nr seem
more impressive.  To my ears the nr caused distortion at low
frequencies so I cut them out with the 0.2 lower frequency.  listening
to a good signal I trimmed the nr settings to nr 89 50 which sounded
much better to me and didn't hurt the noise reduction significantly.
Your mileage may vary don't be afraid to adjust it to your taste.
