[Elecraft] Anyone try 60 meters yet?

This only applies if you will run 50W PEP or less.

The Rules require computation or a manufacturers statement to justify the
gain figure you are using.  Also, the gain of the strongest lobe
regardless of the direction of the lobe is the figure of merit for the
antenna for the purposes of 60 meter operation.

I'm sure the intent here is to have a basis for the ERP for each Amateur
operating on 60 meters.  For the Amateur's point of view, what is needed
is the ability to respond with a compliant value when asked what your ERP
is if the FCC asks for it.  This way you are covered if someone claims you
are operating with too much power.  An authoritative source that states
that an antenna of the design you are using has less gain in any direction
than a half-wave dipole should be sufficient, but the calculation will
also meet the letter of the Rules.

I'd do the calculation for safety.
