Put NOTHING (paste/liquid/goo) onto the sides of the K2 case, nor onto any 
electro-mechanical connections such as the ground clips.

This would probably be the very BEST way to ensure that any/all dust and 
similar trash would be collected underneath the points to be grounded.

Short story... bad things will happen.

Keep everything clean and dry and you'll be in great shape.
