You are not alone, my BFO mod kit is also still unopened. I keep 
telling myself I must get round to it, along with some of the other A 
to B mods, but that means taking the rig off the air for a few hours 
or even days. The K2 continues to work great and there is no great 
incentive to install these sorts of mods for marginal improvements. 
The K2 is an excellent rig with or without these changes.

Adding new options, like the KAT2 and KIO2 got done straightaway as 
they gave me very visible additions.
