Thanks Dan, I found the message your referred to, by Trevor Day G3ZYY. And 
to make things worse, I read that message before! I will try his method of 
repair. So, it seems this was not an isolated case. I would advise others 
building the KDSP2 to check the 2x10 20 pin header before installing it.
