Actually, the PowerSonic Battery Handbook states that when discharging
at the 20 hour rate, the voltage should not be permitted to go below
10.5 volts. At a higher discharge rate (4 hours), it can be permitted
to go down to 10.2 volts.

It seems to me that the 20 hour rate is a pretty close match to the K2
and that taking it to 10.5 volts would be within PowerSonic's
specifications.
