[Elecraft] KPA100 resistance check shows negative resistance

No battery, no source of power.  I did find that my workbench light
increased the negative voltage slightly, but definitely, when switched on.
Removing the filter capacitor had no effect.  Prime suspect now is what you
suggest, a bad solder joint.  I will recheck all those and then proceed to
the next step to see what happens.
