Hi Ken

I don't hear it on every transition either as it only happens when the mute 
happens to come in near the peak of a cycle of the RX audio, when you 
abruptly chop a wave form you get a noticeable pop (actually more of a 
click) and that is what we are hearing

in bypass mode the delay due to the DSP is slightly shorter and may in many 
K2's be short enough to let the shaped transition get out of the DSP before 
the mute comes on.

it's not a terrible pop or anything and the K2DSP is a definite keeper but 
it is irritating especially when operating QSK however this being the K2 I 
am sure we can work out how to solve this
