Hey!
I read yours, now you read mine please....
A few years back, when I was doing CW for a living, I really didn't need all
of the fancy QRM/QRN filters. We could have used some help digging the
signals out of the mud though. Now, 35-40 years later, that I need help with
the QRM/QRN, along comes a company that sells something in my price range.
I have previously said that I would like to have my hotrod be the hottest
one on the block, but if it isn't, #2 or, GASP!!, #3, so be it. I'm
satisfied. (think about the customer service you get from EleCraft). The
Ten-Tech machines are, like the Elecraft, MADE IN THE USA. If the 10-T's
price was cut in half, I would have had one long ago. The big 3 pander to
more knobs and "features" that are not useable and 10-T keeps their prices
at the big 3 level. I'm sorta glad I blew up my one of the big 3's radios
and junked it. I'm not happy I have another of the big 3's as a backup..
This niggling about the K-2 versus TT Orion filters/NF/NB..... ad nauseam,
could stop please?
Bill, Earl, et al, TIA for all the good info in the past, but this is TMI
...not to mention my last list message in or out.
Also, if I could stop breaking things and losing parts, Ole' 3492 would be
in the wind by now! :)
73, Pat
