Hello!
>1) How well does the KDSP2 reduce QRN, the kind you get on 40M during a

I don't know what type of noise you hear. For common background noise (even
LOUD noise of the same type) it offers signficiant noise reduction. Listen
to the .WAV files on the Elecraft website to hear what sort of reduction is
typical.

> already well selected bandwidth for CW or SSB?
It offers additional filters, as well as a denoiser. For SSB, it also
offers an automatic notch filter.
> 3) The K2 is sold with an audio filter accessory. Is it necessary, or
> desirable to have both?
The KAF2 and KDSP2 install in the same physical location, so it is only
possible to have one in the radio.
> 4) Is the pulse/ignition noise filter accessory for the K2 no longer
> necessary if you install the KDSP2?
If you found the KNB2 useful before the KDSP2 was installed, then you will
still find it useful. They handle very different types of noise.
