[Elecraft] iaru contest

Im not a contestor but i went yesterday sat to my local club to give the =
k2 a good break in for next weekends ships on the air special event. To =
make sure all the bugs were out before i got on the USS Orleck(didnt =
wanna embarass me and the whole elecraft community) well as soon as i =
got everything hooked up and turned on, 20M was the band I last used and =
a C T 1 D V V station from portugal was calling cq contest(yes i had a =
crash course in IARU contest rules last night)anyways in my excitement =
and haste before tuning with my kat100 I just grabbed the mic and yelled =
WT5Y and he came right back with a 59(yes i know everyone gets a 59).

Later I discovered the Power Knob was fully counterclockwise!
I brought the power to 100 but i didnt really need it.  Granted it could =
have been the Cushcraft Beam I was using but I like to think it was all =
the K2! still no elecraft serials, we need to organize a Elecraft SERIAL =
CQ Contest on certain frequencies and bands and run it bout 48 hours one =
weekend.

I got bout 30 or so contacts still fixing the logbook=20
