Jacques,

Info 232 happens during VFO Calibration.  Its meaning is:
1) The counter cable was not plugged into TP1
or 2) An attempt was made to perform CAL PLL on a band other than 40 meters.

So, plug the cable into TP1, set the band to 40 meters, and re-run CAL PLL -
all should be OK - if still Info 232, you have a problem somewhere.

Yes, I too think it should be included in the troubleshooting chart - it is
well documented with the K2 Revision 2 Firmware documentation.
