[Elecraft] K1 SSB option - factory authorized?

I hope it will be, because I'd love a K1-sized SSB/CW radio, but I don't 
consider myself an experienced enough constructor to carry out such an 
extensive unauthorized mod. I guess there may be others who feel the same. 
I'd buy a K1 in a heartbeat if I knew this was going to happen...
