[Elecraft] Headphone jack problem

Harry:

If you look at the schematic of the RF board (lower lefthand corner of 
sheet 1), you will see the headphone jack has a built-in switch which is 
supposed to cut out the speaker when a phone plug is inserted. My guess 
is there might be a solder bridge across those two switch contacts, 
causing the speaker to always be on. The speaker is supposed to be muted 
when you plug something into the external speaker jack, so that part works.
