[Elecraft] K1 realign after KAT1: P3 jumpers don't change anything

I have a K1 with noise blanker, KAT1 tuner and battery pack,
and a 2-filter board (17 and 40 meters).

I wanted to realign a band on the 2-filter board so I removed
the KAT1 and moved the jumper on P3 from pins 2 and 3
("KAT1 installed") to pins 1 and 2 ("no KAT1").

I then powered it back up without the KAT1 and there was no
receive signal.  I plugged the KAT1 back in (and got RX back) and
then tried the jumper in the 1-2 position, the 2-3 position, and
completely removed.  No change at all: RX signal every time.

Before I start signal-tracing is there anything obvious that I'm
missing, such as other steps I need to take to temporarily
undo the KAT1 for filter board realignment?
