Bruce,

Like many of the others, I had not built anything in almost 20 years.
About a year and a half ago, I got a K2 as a birthday present. I came
immediately to this list and found answers to all my questions. After
about 2 weeks of solder practice on some junk boards, I plunged in and
started on the K2. It has been a love affair ever since. This has been
the most fun that I have had in this hobby in a long time, and I have
always had fun in it. You will not regret this experience.

The comments on solder stations and other little tools you might need
are well worth the added expense. You will use them a lot.

I cannot emphasize enough the need for patience, not working too long
at a time ( about 2 Hrs was my limit), and following the directions to
the letter.
