Thanks to everyone for helping me get #3096 finished and ready to roll.
Elecraft was very responsive in sending missing and/or updated parts,
and I appreciated all the helpful responses I got when trying to
determine if my TX current was abnormally high (it wasn't!).

Tried a few calls late last night on 40m, but band was not too lively
and had to turn in. I adjusted my filters using just receive noise with
preamp on - I thought there was a software noise source program
somewhere that someone had that could be used, or possibly setting up
Spectrumlab software (a true freebie that I use that is similar to
Sprectrogram) to produce required noise signal output?

I also went ahead and installed the diode mod for extremely strong on
frequency signals and have noticed no side effects as of yet.

Gonna go to a friend's shack this evening who has better test equipment
and do some sensitivity measurements, as well as some 'Field Day like'
strong signal environment testing. Then it's either clean up my shack
(looks like a bomb went off in here, yikes!), or delve into the SSB
adapter kit, with a few QRP Q's thrown in for good measure. Thanks
Elecraft for everything, the K2 is truly a journey, not just a
destination, but once you arrive it's pretty fun, too!
