Let me second Jerry's enthuiasm about a K2/100 on 160M.  While I didn't
do quites as well he did, I did manage quite a few states plus VE3 using
a G5RV that required retuning every 10Khz, never went below 2.5:1 and was
frequently >3:1 SWR.  At 25 feet above the ground I suspect most of the
RF went straight up. But I could work just about everything I could hear.
