Why not just get some depleted uranium? I bet one of the guys near Ft. 
Campbell could sneak out to the post and get some from the live-fire tank 
range. Even depleted, maybe it would still make the radio glow in the 
dark-saving on those mA-HRs from your battery! 'Course... the lead gloves 
might make it a bit tough to tune...?
