[Elecraft] The K2 Tuning Knob Discussion and Idea

We have been down this before, but Buckeye Stamping in Ohio makes nice
spinner knobs.  I even got a sample for my K2.  Which locals thought looked
real sharp!

However, someone who wanted to organize a group buy had slower response from
them when he requested a sample and did not like it as much, so he bowed out
of a group buy; so knobs are very much in the eye of the beholder.  I would
not want to deal with a bulk order and find that folks are too picky.  I
also bet the rubber rims on Yaesu knobs come out of the same factory as the
rubber used for lobster claws!  And Broccoli!

There may be a supplier for the rubber goods who would meet the more
discerning needs:  Small Parts Inc. in FL.

Actually over time, I kind of like the original knob as well as the spinner
knob!
