[Elecraft] Audio buzz on transmit

I have checked the archives for this issue, but cannot find anything
similar. I have the KAT2 installed and whenever I transmit (even with no
power i.e. SSB with no audio) I get a buzz on the audio which is audible at
high AF gain settings (I use this in conjunction with low RF gain to pick
out weak signals). This is also audible using headphones, and when using the
ATU tune function. The noise is intermittent at fixed intervals, so I
wondered if it could be digital noise from the link between the ATU and the
control board. Anyone else experienced this problem?
