Hey thanks Jerry! Well, I tried sending the procedure to Jerry at that
address, but it bounced from there too! As well as from @attbi.com (who I
heard took over for @home.com). Jerry appears to MIA. I just wanted to
make sure it was clear that I didn't develop the procedure -- he did; all
I did was update it to correspond to the new firmware.
Anway, y'all are welcome and glad it worked. I've had a bunch of folks
tell me that it worked like a charm for them too. I'll probably get
spectrogram, cuz it seems generally cool and neat to be able to have a
visual on the bandpass, but Jerry's procedure really does satisfy the
alignment requirement. Actually and BTW -- if you're in to PSK31 at all,
the waterfall display does a pretty good job of giving a graphical of the
bandpass too! Though I wouldn't want to use it to try to find the center!
It just looks purdy as you flip through the filters! :)
