The following was received from an anonymous person. I would never
condone it.
Go to your local hardware store. Somewhere they will have a display of
galvanized pipe. I seem to remember it's the 3/4" inch stuff you want,
(may be larger, I forget), anyway, note that are are neat plastic caps on
the ends, to protect the threads. These caps "unscrew" easily, and are
occasionally lost from the display pieces. It's a shame, but it happens.
They are also a nice fit for the mike connector, and can even be cut down
in length so they don't stick out from the panel.
