That's exactly why I retain a couple jumper wires, bent to fit between the 
two #1 and two #2 pins of the KAF2 socket. Any time I have to remove the 
KAF2 for testing or other activities, it install the two jumpers so I can 
hear what I need to hear.

Problem is that when they're not in use, they're so small that they keep 
skittering away and hiding under the multitude of things on the desktop. <G>
