[Elecraft] Elecraft QSO party. 8 /9 March 2003

I suspect that a large percentage of the readers of this list also
belong to QRP-L and behave themselves the same on both.

The QRP-L problem that peaks periodically is that some few, usually
new, guys will start posting and feel that they have carte blanch to
comment upon anything posted in addition to the poster himself for
doing so. One thing leads to another until we get the John/Karl
constant sniping situation which tends to fester and infect others.
Pretty soon, we honest folk who like to think that we contribute
signal just hold off and the S/N degrades. When it gets low enough,
Jim steps in and cleans house and we start off on another "good guy"
cycle. Happens every couple of years, but seems to be almost
self-healing.

But, I really agree with Thom that the Elecraft list is delightful to
read and a welcome forum for technical content and help for others.
Let's all agree to keep it that way!   <:}

Finally, I think that apart from the individual subscribers to the
list, Eric's firm but gentle hand has had a lot to do with making that
MOJO work!
