[Elecraft] Mini Keyers

Hello Dave,
   I am going to order and build the K1 in the next few months and thought it had a keyer built in.  Am I wrong?  I thought all I had to do was install my Palm paddles, an 
antenna, a battery and I was QRV.  If it needs a keyer I would install the one I got from  K1EL and use for code practice with my Code Warrior paddles.
