I tried yesterday to reset the temp. on the CAL tpa menu.  When initially 
powering up, the temp showed 253 C.  Resetting the temp to ambient 
temperature seemed to help until this morning.  What I neglected to mention 
in my first post is that this is a problem that clears up after letting the 
radio warm up for 10-15 minutes.  After that, the temp indicated in the menu 
setting is pretty close to ambient temperature.  It is after powering off and 
letting the radio sit overnight and then powering up the next day that the 
problem develops.
