The first person to record it was Lonnie Donnegan, "Skiffle
master", recently deceased  :-(
It was titled "Does your chewing gum lose it's flavor on
Bedpost overnight?".
I sung it to my grandkids the other day -- you should have
seen the looks I got  :-)
