[Elecraft] 40 Meter Transmitter Alignment

Hi all....
I was going through the transmitter alignment on page 72 and got all the =
way to the the third step on page 74 and
boom.. Hi Current display.. So I went back and tried to
align everything again except this time I can't get past
step 3.. Step 4 tells you to tune for max. output but I have
no output.. the internal wattmeter show .2 and .3 watts and
can't be adjusted. by L1 and L2...
What happen????? All was going so well then its like it
lost all power.. Did something short out.... Did my power=20
transistors go out that quick??????
In the meantime Im going to try and signal trace it to see=20
where its loosing power.. Im guessing at  Q7 and Q8..
