[Elecraft] Bed Post QRP DX

My wife & I are in Fredericksburg, TX celebrating her birthday.  I brought 
my K2 QRP rig with me and a long wire antenna.  While the XYL was downtown 
shopping, I started setting up my equipment.  We are staying in a "bed and 
breakfast" on the second floor.  The windows have screens on them & I 
couldn't figure out how to put my antenna out the window without dropping 
a screen, so as an alternative, I strung the long wire in the shape of an 
"N" across the 4 tall bedposts of our bed & then across the room. 

I made a couple North America SSB contacts on 10 meters & then after 
dinner, about 7:30 PM, I tuned down to 28030 kHz & heard JA1NLX calling 
CQ.  I activated the automatic antenna tuner & then cranked the powr up to 
10 watts.  "Akira" in Tokyo responded to my call & gave a "569" RST from 
Tokyo where the weather was cloudy & 5 C.  The old "mojo" was a-working.
