Hi David,

I'm no expert on contests. Despite this, I'm the one who wrote the first draft
of the rules, including this one  ;)  They are certainly open to revision.

The rule was supposed to say that the top 5 US/CA and DX stations in *both*
categories would be listed on our web site. My original reason for only having
awards for stations in category 1 (Elecraft gear) was that I didn't want whoever
helped us with the contest to have to do a lot of work. I also didn't think we'd
have significant participation from non-Elecraft stations--but like I said, I'm
not an expert on such things.

Do you think we'll see a lot of category 2 stations submit contest summaries? If
we believe this is a possibility, then by all means we should have certificates
for them as well. 

Pat went out of town and can't revise the rules right away, but please send your
suggestions to him.
