And why not ....I use a micro-M controller and a 5 watt panel I got from The
Electronic Goldmine.  I think the panel was 28 bucks or so and it is a 12x12
size wise.  The battery is a SLA  reject from my Miata which keeps a good
charge ..no complaints regarding running out of juice.  The K2 here has
never been on the mains.  I just modified a 1 dollar battery desk lamp with
2 LEDs so I can be off grid completely QRP wise.  Amazing what 2 white LEDs
