Here's a few firmware changes to add to the wish list:

* Option to turn OFF the extra word space added to the CW memories. 
Currently, if you do message chaining, you'll get two word spaces between 
memories. In contests, this makes for awkward pauses in transmissions.

* Add an RAon setting that can be programmed for PF1/PF2. RAon is similar 
to FPon, but it toggles the state of the RANT entry. This would allow one 
to program PF1 or PF2 to toggle the receive antenna jack in the K160RX 
option on and off with one keypress. (Currently, if you program PF1 or 
PF2 for RANT, you have to adjust the menu entry, then hit MENU twice to 
clear the entry)

* Option to disable the audio blanking that occurs when AUXBUS is active. 
I had a problem with AUXBUS that turned out to be a bit of poorly 
conductive solder flux. This resulted in long audio blanking when the 
chips had trouble talking to each other. I'm of the opinion that the 
blanking is perhaps more intrusive than the AUXBUS chatter would be.
