Hey, congrats Gregg.

I just finished #3021 with the KSB2. A wonderful xmas+bday gift from my
YL. I haven't installed the KSB2 yet because I'm not fully satisfied the
rig is completely functional yet -- I mean it passed all the tests, but I
have such a crappy antenna (ground-floor apartment
wire-thumbtacked-to-wall special) that tuning around the bands at night is
demoralizing. I got a little more encouragement during the day today --
WWV is "on the money" and I heard some 4-landers on 10 SSB, a Ruski on 10
CW, some Texans on 15 and 20 (along with some PACTOR in there somewhere)
and the code practice broadcast from Hollywood on 7.0995 all in amongst
lots and lots of computer birdies (I have about five computers in the
apartment; I'm a developer).

But bleat as I may on the various CW bands (LOVE that repeating keyer
memory; what a great invention), I have yet to QSO. SUCKS!

AND I have a 100watt module here to build! Again, I want to take the base
unit out into the field with a decent antenna and pound on it a bit before
I start adding stuff on to it. Plus I need to mess with these filters for
a while; I haven't quite got the concept down.

Frankly I'm amazed it hears!

Anyway, one step at a time.
