This is on the KPA100 errata sheet, also found on the Elecraft web site in
the manuals section.

"8. This code will always be seen after setting CAL TPA, but it can also
indicate a problem with the KPA100 MCU or its on-chip EEPROM.  If it's just
the CAL TPA indication, it can be cleared by turning power off and back on."
