[Elecraft] Power supply questions

I have two questions concerning the power supply to my K2(not 100w).

1)  Where can I get the connector that goes into the back of the rig?  I =
have been to 4 different Radio Shacks and still unable to find the right =
size plug to solder onto the end of the wire to make a power supply =
cord.  Any suggestions to help me make up a couple of extra power supply =
cords would be appreciated.

2) What do you guys use as the most common and practical source of a =
portable power source when going camping or traveling.  I realize some =
of my questions are quite elementary, but I have searched for =
information until I am blue in the face and wondering if I will even be =
able to participate in this great activity of amateur radio.  Thanks for =
all your help.  I appreciate it.
