[Elecraft] KPA troubleshooting

I'm on page 44 of the KPA100 manual, the SWR bridge null adjustment.

The KPA sits next to the K2, aux RF is connected as is the control -flat-
cable. When I tune the K2, the swr can be adjusted to 0 perfectly, both on
the display and with a DVM.

The power is a whole diferent story: every setting above the lowest power
(0.1 W) gives a high current reading, at lowest setting the measured output
is abt 5 W and over 15 W at anything above that. Adjusting R27 and R27 have
no effect whatsoever.

Building the K2 back to a standalone with the KAT2 makes it work ok again.
Communication with the KPA seems ok, the swr comes trough and the temp. can
be calibrated.

Where to look, is there a voltage relative to the measured power, and what
should it's relation to the power be ?
